The food you eat can significantly impact your health and well-being. But eating a healthy diet also doesn’t have to be boring! (And in my corner of the internet, it never will be!).

Ever since I was a teenager, I have loved learning about nutrition and how certain foods can support our health. I love to cook and bake, and spending time in the kitchen is one of my greatest simple joys.

My recipes are designed according to 3 rules:

  1. Made from scratch, with natural, whole ingredients.
  2. Must be simple and easy to follow. (No crazy, long cooking instructions. These are recipes that everyone can make).
  3. Must be delicious. (Absolute non-negotiable. Life is about balance and eating bland meals is unsustainable and boring!).

Working in health care, I noticed a huge need for holistic health awareness. With the rates of preventable chronic disease and obesity skyrocketing (even in children!) returning to a healthy, holistic lifestyle has never been more important.

With the modern hustle culture, many people have turned away from eating whole foods, cooking from scratch, and using safe products. Ill health and disease are a hefty price to pay for convenience.

Much of the food in grocery stores today is processed, refined and chemically contaminated in some way. Everyday products ranging from personal care to household cleaners are full of toxic chemicals.

I believe health is invaluable. It takes a holistic approach to be healthy, including nutrition, environment, sleep, attitude, and movement… it all works together.

My passion for holistic health and natural living started from a young age. My parents were very health-focused. My mum cooked from scratch, we spent hours outdoors in nature and used herbs and natural remedies to support our wellbeing.

Nature is healing and food is medicine.
