Step by step instructions
- Add the cloves, cinnamon chunks, peppermint and coconut oil into a glass jar.
- Simmer on low in a double broiler for a 1-2 hours. Stir every now and then.
- Strain out the herbs into a clean glass jar or bowl.
- If adding essential oils, add in your drops to the melted coconut oil.
- While the coconut oil is still melted, pour into a silicone mold. I like to wait about 10 minutes to allow the mixture to cool slightly, so it’s not super hot.
- Put in the freezer for an hour. Once solid, pop them out into a glass jar or storage container and keep in the fridge.
That’s it! They’re ready to use. This recipe is so simple and makes about 50 oil pulling tablets.
