Ingredients
Units Scale
- 1 cup fresh pine needles
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 organic honey
Instructions
- In a jar, add the pine needles and pour in the boiling hot water, making sure to cover. Let sit for 40 minutes to an hour.
- After your infusion is ready, strain out the pine needles using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. You want to keep the liquid and discard the solid bits.
- Once the liquid has cooled down slightly (not boiling hot) add the honey and stir until all mixed in. If the water gets cold, heat slightly until it mixes well.
Notes
If you use ½ cup honey, this will last 3 weeks if left in the fridge. You can freeze to preserve longer than a month.
